Responsibility and transparency is fundamental to us. We believe the only way forward is to be kind to our planet and everyone involved in Schulz by Crowd.
We have a responsible focus in all stages of the production process - from our choice of fabrics, the ways they are processed, dyed and sewn, into the design process which also has a responsible angle.
We try to be as transparent as possible and when purchasing our product online, you can see the name of the supplier on the product info on our webpage.
The design is timeless and made to last. We value craftmanship and put a lot of effort into the development of each style.
We select high quality, natural and certified materials such as organic GOTS certified cotton or TENCEL. We have consciously selected the fabrics to ensure that they can last for a long time with the proper treatment.
We only cooperate with good factories that share our values and we never compromise on working conditions. To ensure that, we work with the Danish consulting company Sourcing House who point out suitable and responsible suppliers. All our suppliers must sign our Code of Conduct before we start working together.
Everything is produced i the EU, except our knitwear, which is made at Yala Knit & Crafts in Nepal - a conscious workplace with a history of helping their workers through hard times.
Furthermore, we also believe that less clothing is more responsible. Overproduction, and the resulting mass of unsold clothes, is a significant issue that the fashion industry currently faces. That’s why we take pride in designing our seasonal collections with limited stock - we want to make sure that each item finds the right owner and isn’t left behind on the rack.
We have also launched a circular recycling concept named "Pre-Loved" where you can hand in your old Schulz by Crowd item so that it can subsequently be loved by a new owner (read more)
For us there is always room for improvement and in our quest to be more responsible, we are constantly required to think creatively to find alternative solutions – it’s a challenge we particularly enjoy.
With the plethora of clothing brands available on the market, it is our hope that you would want to wear something which is more than just a beautiful garment. That you would want to represent a community, a set of values and to be a part of a responsible journey that, hopefully in the long run, will change the industry.
Thanks for taking this journey with us!
