Our commitment to people and the environment.
At Schulz by Crowd, CRS (Corporate Social Responsibility) is foundational.
As the fashion industry is known as one that creates significant pollution, the words ‘sustainability’ and ‘fashion’ together may sound rather contradictory. However, at Schulz by Crowd, we have intentionally chosen to focus on reducing our footprint on this globe.
We have a sustainable focus in our entire value chain - our material selection, the design choices, handling etc. This is practically outworked through selecting of natural, high quality and/or organic materials, which can last for a long time with the proper treatment.
We have deliberately taken our time to choose high quality and durable natural fabric, in all our collections. We create classic pieces using exceptional craftsmanship, and classic design for longevity.
The dyeing process of our silk fabrics adhere to REACH, which is the EU´s chemical and our organic fabrics are all GOTS certified. Read more
WE HAVE ALL A RESPONSIBILITY
At Schulz by Crowd, we actively raise awareness of the customer’s responsibility to take care of their clothing.
The carefully selected items are made to last based on correct treatment. Therefore, this requires that we all care for our clothes as directed. Our care labels not only indicate how to wash and dry our items correctly but encourage customers to consider how frequently they wash their clothes.
At Schulz by Crowd, we believe that fostering strong professional relationships is the way forward.
There are many people involved in the process of clothing production. We collaborate with good suppliers that share the same values as us and we always work together with the intention of longer-lasting partnerships, rather than switching from supplier to supplier based on temporary better offers. For example, we have been working with the same silk supplier since our very first production.
CODE OF CONDUCT
At Schulz by Crowd we have our own Code of Conduct.
It clearly states our corporate guidelines regarding how we work internally and externally. Our Code of Conduct is based on the 10 principles of the UN Global Compact concerning human rights, work, environment and anti-corruption, ensuring that our brand has a united vision and common values. All our suppliers must sign our Code of Conduct.
